This is just a story about Ciao Fei (Jay Chou) and his mentor’s daughter Lan Ting (Lin Chi Ling) teaming up to protect ancient treasures which buried under the northwest desert. Overall story is quite boring and lack of something. However, if you are fans, you must support it. Some of the characters seem like extra one and no important role at all.
How about the special effects? Not bad. At first, I thought it might be like Tomb Raider movie which focus on the process and adventure of entering the tomb. But, I can’t find those elements in this movie.
