Utility Bill

Published on June 12th, 2008 by in News

Starting from 1st April 2008, government is introducing a rounding mechanism for total bills. But, some of the local utility units’ system not yet updated to meet this requirement! For example, my bill’s amount is RM27.67 (This amount should be rounded up to RM27.65). So, I paid RM27.70. The counter said “Sorry! No change!”. As a result, I lost RM0.05 because of the lousy system that not yet updated!
